Inclusive Education Services: A Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines

This Ministry manual is the main policy guide for inclusive education services in BC. It brings together the legal orders, policy expectations, planning requirements, service descriptions, and funding-category criteria that schools and districts rely on when supporting students with disabilities or diverse abilities. The province’s inclusive education resources page says the manual was renamed and updated as part of the July 2024 language-modernisation work, replacing “special education” terminology with “inclusive education” language.
